OK, thoughts while wondering how one goes about a 7-figure civil suit for false arrest...

-- So when the 3 Duke lacrosse players were arrested Jesse Jackson and Reverend Sharpton called for their execution and over 500 days later we find out a girl of color told nasty lies and made up the whole thing. Where, oh where, are the apologies?

And that woman's basketball team whose "lives where changed forever" by being called a name? They will never be hired in any significant job if the employer know's they are this weak. Three kids almost spent 35 years in jail for a black woman's lies and Don Imus gets fired for calling a few people a name.

-- So my next thought would be: When is the asian community going to prop up someone in defense of the Virginia Tech massacre offender?

-- So a college student with problems assassinates 32 students and the whole world is askew in whys? and hows? I am to believe that this is understandable and I do. But can someone explain why there were 9 kids murdered yesterday and the person who did this is free and living in this country? As a matter of fact, thousands have been killed by this monster in Washington. Is it because the kids he kills are from the ghettos and poorer climes and not engineering students at Syracuse or software developers in Cupertino?

No! It's because the 30-somethings in this country running their 2.6 kids around in 12 mpg Urban Assault Vehicles believe their kids will need all the oil we can fight for so they can guzzle it down like mom and dad. I will be damned if I see one, single 30-something speak up about this occupation in Iraq. (It ain't no goddamn war) Thing is, some of them don't even know about this situation.

And finally, how crass, obnoxious and confoundingly assinine was the media to show this sorry excuse for a free-world leader exiting a church on Easter morning and report that he "prayed for peace"? How many morons ate that slop up? HELLO???

-- So Karl Rove, when approached about global warming, said he works "for the American people"? No he does NOT! He works for a political party and an administration that has blindfolded the eyes of justice for too long. (now it's missing emails... wow) Rove doesn't work for me, I can tell you that. If he does, his sorry puny little lily-white ass is fired. As one observer once said to him "So you're Bush's brains? I was expecting a much smaller man".

SPORT:

-- Nice to see that NY Skankee show-pony Ass-Rod fail (sorry, chokes are in October) whenever he had a chance to help his team vs. the Red Sox this past weekend.

-- A Celtic player is in trouble with the law again and the NBA suspends one of its referees. Is anyone surprised? This sorry excuse for a sport has more corruption and flaunted gangster figures in it than roller derby. WWF wrestling is a real bonafide sport compared to the NBA.

Here is how knowledgeable the NBA crowd is: ESPN had a poll about the aforementioned ref and whether his "undetermined sentence" was justified. The most popular answer was 46% - "just right". Now can someone tell me that an unknown quantity can be "just right"? I rest my case.
